I knew nothing about this movie until I hot to the @RegalCinema today. I didn’t know it was a Lucas Films production directed by Stephen Spielberg! I had no idea that Daisy Edgar-Jones was the lead actor! Love her! I was happy with the plot the acting, the cinematography! My only criticism would be having to sit through the shitty Country music! 🙄 But I understand it was Oklahoma

The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
Having spent time on the Aran Islands off the West Coast of The Republic of Ireland, I was so delighted to see the gorgeous scenery of this beautiful land. The somewhat depressing plot was better understood when I realized it was set in 1923! Not that it still would have not been depressing but it did shed light on the history & humanity of the time.

If it were not for the stellar performances of ATJ & Ralph Fiennes I would have shut it off after the second course!
This darkness could have been dark without the violence.
Partially satire but I work with chefs on a daily basis & this was way to extreme.
The characters were well developed and I loved Hong Chau’s character Elsa.
So an 8 for acting a 2 for content & plot.
