A nostalgic throwback to what Scorsese used to be. Outstanding performance from Joe Pesci, a rather flat Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino just being Al Pacino. It lacks a strong female roll like Sharon Stone's in "Casino" and a bit of generational diversity. But all in all it comes off as a classic Scorsese film with an extra
pinch of existential crisis.
