i really liked the music aspect! “ A complete Unknown” artist can become a famous artist in a short time and his life can change so rapidly! I loved the scenes where we as film watchers saw that we lived in a completely different period of time (60’s) (the clothing, cigarettes, music,…) At the end Bob was tired of playing folk music at the Newport Folkfestival so he decided to play something else but his public wasn’t happy with that… this scene shows that Bob Dylan was a bit stubborn…

the message of the film is clear: everyone should be treated fairly.
The switch where Solomon Northup, a free Afro-American men, becomes suddenly a slave for 12 years is so sad and terrifying. The film gave me a moment to realize how blessed i am with the life that i’m currently living!
