It’s funny how she prefers to be called ani but the film is titled anora.
From beginning to end this was awful, i guess all you gotta do is add a sex worker into a movie and it becomes groundbreaking. Instead, it’s a shallow, pretentious attempt at edgy storytelling that fails to justify its own existence. The film lingers on explicit scenes as if mistaking shock value for substance..
And holy fuck that end was so dumb, ridiculous. Made by a pompous pseudo intelectual who felt like making a soft porn shit show disguised as high art. Disappointing
