  I want to watch this film again I loved it so much. It made me FEEL. Warm fuzzies inside, contentment, understanding, happiness, peace. And with so little dialogue I understood so much. Visually it was so gorgeous, considered and effortlessly simple—no extra bits, no background noise. All so crafted. Beautiful.

  Ladybird is beautiful. Maybe that’s even too simplistic, it’s heartbreaking and emotional and nostalgic. It makes me want to be 17 again and also makes me so glad 17 is in my past. It feels exactly like how I’d like to romanticize my teenage years if I could.
