  My second year of university I didn't do anything. Full covid nonsense. Would only leave my room to get drunk or smoke a cigarette. 10% attendance rate or less. My room was great though, the front room of some massive victorian house. Paint peeling off the walls, perfect amount of mold. Would just sit in there & do nothing, look at my phone, etc. Occasionally I'd pretend to practice Latin or read some such book. But mostly when I did read…

  Great acting. I think having children play the witches is just wrong though. Esp. considering they're just normal girls & not hermaphroditic terrors. The weak, pseudo-Brechtianisms also don't work. They draw attention to the fact that it's a play but to no end. They come off as insincere, they make the play feel insincere. Which is such a shame considering the text is of such (much needed) moral depth. It often comes off as a The Conjuring-style movie, but I suppose that is the "Macbeth for our day." Still worth the watch, let the voices ring out.
