Mickey 17 2025
Micky 17 isn’t as polished as opposed to Parasite but it was still a pretty damn good movie. I love Joon Ho’s take on a sci-fi film. The characters and set design were well put together. And damn, can Rob Pat act his ass off. Add Micky to the list of characters that Pattinson does extreme voices and accents for. The dude’s got range for sure.
The film was funny, tragic, and touching. Especially when Micky 18 started touching Micky 17 to initiate a threesome.

I did it. I finally watched dune.
Seriously though, this was a stunning film. The images alone were revolutionary. The set pieces, the acting, the music, the plot. All of it was so fantastic and so tragic. I am a huge history buff, so this was a delight to watch. I know that much of the plot and the portrayal of T.E. Lawrence is not 100% accurate, but the fact that this guy actually existed and now has a 7 Oscar award winning film memorizing his character as a hero is something noteworthy.

I enjoyed this. The two competitors play aggressively for the trophy wife (Zendaya). Jumping between present and past worked interestingly. It connected the players victory on the court with their past victories in winning Zendaya’s attention. Not her love of course because she reserves her love for good tennis.
