A moving testament to the power of perception, storytelling, and— most simply and poignantly— just being alive. How do you grow up in a space that’s determined to squeeze you out? How can you show you care? Deeply moving film which adopts a child’s eye for magic and a worn-down man’s heart for fleeting, beautiful moments of empathy. A difficult watch, but it never felt cruel— every performance was so great that you were always invited to walk with these characters, not watch from afar.

I’m pretty sure I understand what just happened. Like 80%.

Viscerally horrific and wonderfully bizarre, and so so so very current. Especially with all this AI stuff that’s being developed. Do any of us even own ourselves??? I’m going crazy.
