  BANGER! Why did people in class tell me this was shit, film school is for haters I guess??  Every director gotta do their space movie, and Bong Joon Ho’s is such a lovely one. Does it try to say too many things? 100%. Is it perfect? No! But it’s a fun good old time that I really enjoyed. Wonderful! Mark Ruffalo a creature

  I haven’t seen this since I was a little kid, and I was shocked at how much I remembered! Good movie I had a great time, wonderful script, wonderful performances! It’s a very Rob Reiner/Christopher Guest feeling joint, in a kind of unique way! It has the subtle humor brought out by the performances, but plays with genre in a way the two didn’t really explore in the same way again! I know Guest wasn’t a writer for this, but it definitely has that same vibe

  While this may not be Birbiglia’s most laugh-out-loud special, it certainly is some of his best story telling. I just adore the way that this man can craft a special. The way he takes you from story to story, getting more and more side-tracked yet always bringing every aspect back full circle thematically is brilliant. Can’t wait to watch it again, and re-watch his others for the millionth time. Mike will always be my favorite stand-up. Long live Mike Bahuski!!
