    fun exploration of the intellectual history of modernity (which I think they do better than in previous occasions) but a bit too profane around delicate topics for my liking, and at times overly-produced when the basic formula already works well

    En un principio, me estaba pareciendo una gran película. Me impresionó la gran labor recuperar perspectivas que representan muchas esquinas—a menudo en conflicto con sí mismas—de la sociedad mestiza mexicana de una manera respetuosa, humorística y creativa. ¿En qué otra película encajas a una feminista lectora de Judith Butler con un Americanista de hueso colorado? La actuación de Carlos Ballarta me pareció excelente. 

    Sin embargo, la trama se torna propaganda zionista y de las fuerzas armadas de Israel de una manera que termina dejando mal sabor de boca. Me imagino que es por motivos de financiamiento. De todas maneras… 👎🏽
