Planning to see this one again, it leaves you with such a warm but also cold feeling and I haven’t seen a film do it this well in a long time. Not to mention superb performances all around, and damn Bong Joon Ho you have such a cool story to tell in this film, and your political commentary is the type that’s so obvious it still gets overlooked; crazy on the nose.

Longlegs 2024
Gorgeous yet simple camera angles and shots, capturing a very interesting character dynamic and the cat and mouse style with a twist. I adored the performances but especially that of Maika Monroe as the lead. Cannot recommend this one enough, if you would love an artsy psychological horror with a very well incorporated mystery element, this film is 100% for you.

As Above, So Below 2014
What an interesting film. So many good concepts, however I feel a lot of these were unfortunately underdeveloped. Some characters weren’t fleshed out enough leaving me unfulfilled with a lot of the outcomes. Regardless, the ideas alone and some of the good executions done, did make this an enjoyable and intriguing watch.
All the puzzle pieces are there, however a few aren’t in the right place.
