The Student of Prague 1913
Not the most amazing thing in terms of basic plot, but it is a fantastic piece of visual history that despite being silent is timeless. Watched the whole thing while listening to Death Grips. Kind of a mindfuck with the protagonist's reflection coming to life as a doppelganger. I felt the old fuzzy quality of the film added to the building of a spiritual/mystical atmosphere. Also they had Satan and he was oozing with devilish charisma that translated perfectly through the silence and lack of colour.
