Great commentary on American suburbs but it makes me feel like a bot living in one. I hope to not be.

Station Eleven 2021
This show took its time but holy smokes it might’ve changed my life. A different yet beautiful take on post-apocalyptic fiction. The bore of episodes 2-4 is the only reason why this show isn’t 5 stars. The second half of it was just perfect, and now Station 11 has my heart forever.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Visually, this movie is incredible. However, Paul’s character development is frustrating. Why build him up as a textured hero to root for, and then tear that texture apart by making him a robotic, unlikable protagonist? I have not read the books so I do not know what comes next, but I hope in the next movie we see more glimpses of the old Paul while he still leads the Fremen. Also, Austin Butler rocks.
