2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
I think this movie was a masterpiece and way ahead of its time. It’s truly a stunning movie. But I did not expect it to be so horrifying. It takes unease to a level of discomfort that caught me so off guard. I personally still love this movie, but have no desire to watch it again. The sounds of this movie, truly terrifying. I love when movies succeed at giving you the feeling they set out, and boy did this movie succeed. A single word review: unnerving

This movie was wacky, in a fun yet messed up way. It’s an apocalypse movie where you can kinda turn your brain off and enjoy some weirdly shot scenes. The universe feels lived in, especially if you already have seen Mad Max. They don’t hold your hand, they throw you into it. Hemsworth is such a good actor.
