Pauline Kael writes that this movie is "so lacking in human dimensions" that is becomes outrageous and overwrought. Roger Ebert writes that it is "stagy historical pomp and circumstance". Stop fucking playing. Both missed the point. This movie is transcendently complex, and psychedelic in its sumptuousness. Eisenstein’s best imho. If u think this movie is boring u didn’t get it
