there’s so much about these movies that don’t make sense if you think about it for more than a couple seconds, like why the fuck were parents even sending their kids to the school at this point and why were those kids seemingly the only people available to fight the magical british nazis. like voldemort had an entire army and the only people willing to fight him were a bunch of kids?

kinda ass. cigarettes bad, tv bad, drugs bad, vanity bad yeah no shit. not really saying anything deep or profound, pretty surface level. animation was alright i guess, a couple cool shots but the style overall wasn’t really to my liking. also pretty shocking that he was able to make a 12 minute short feel so fucking long dear god it was boring. basically what i expect from a comedy central short film by a youtuber but was hoping for more due to the high rating. why does it sound so easy to breathe on tv is an absolute fucking banger though.

coming back to this 20 years later im pretty surprised by how well it’s aged. i’ve rewatched a few episodes of the original tv show over the years and the show is kinda a mess…but this movie is pretty great.
