Hollywood during its glory days, where flamboyance, excesses and extravaganza were the norm. Over the top desire for fame, also taking its toll. This 70s, French masterpiece seems to turn the tables and depicts a story that’s unexpected funny and surreal. It celebrates the underdog and translates human beings into ants. The movie left me feel uncomfortable to be in such a powerful position as a human being. Should we share our knowledge with other species? Are we already submitting to a higher power, but we just don’t know?
