might be the best movie i’ve seen so far this year… such an incredible commentary on human cynicism and how we assume that anyone who’s different from us are our enemies. i also loved this movie’s message about how the government ridicules scientists even though it relies on science for so much, and also the way the government abuses science. i liked the parallels that were drawn between Marshall and Trump and also the message about the dangers of colonialism.…
very good movie. i thought the arch of the movie felt very real and reflected the hard truths of life and the disillusionment that many women feel towards men. i felt like the movie lacked some insight into anora’s backstory. we got barely any information about her family - her sister was barely in the movie at all despite the fact that they live together and we learned nothing about her parents. i think mikey played her character very well…
