  I’ve watched this film for the 500th time and I think it really is one of my favorite movies because it truly portrays the imprisonment of being a girl. I think Sofia Coppola does such a good job at capturing the male gaze and the feeling of yearning and longing through the girls. With especially Lux, you can really feel for her and relate to her.
