Mirror 1975
Visually interesting. I was left unsatisfied with the way the characters and the unfolding almost touched me, then didn’t. And maybe that’s just one of the many “points”, the way in which memories are real enough, and yet buried in the past, untouchable.
I feel there is more to ponder after having watched the film than there is to be felt during it, which, again, perhaps says something about present moment versus memory. The film has us wondering how much of life is retrospection.
Although I didn’t feel as much as I had hoped to, I am still glad I gave this film a watch.
