  Watching this for the first time at Vidiots was truly a top 3 theater-going experience for me. Shoutout to the staff for giving us plenty of fake money and (unused, don’t worry) panties to throw and for running through with cash guns during every dance sequence. Also, Eric Andre was in the audience and hearing him laugh throughout the movie really sold it.

  PS: the affect that Joe Manganiello has on people is one of the strongest forces out there

  My mom called me right after this was announced as Best Picture at the Oscars to say “I TOLD YOU YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN ANORA.” And you know what, she and the academy were so right. Such a great movie and such a human movie. Gritty while still being tender? I love the character of Ani so much. 

  Side note: Igor lighting those two cigarettes in his mouth so he could give Anora one was so hot.
