The Good Girl 2002
Sort of has the themes of a kitchen sink realist film (see Georgy Girl or A Taste of Honey) but rebranded as a Garden State-esque dark comedy that was much darker than it wanted us to feel. Unsure if it worked but I’m glad I saw it!

Appreciated the performances and Sean’s referential editing style (esp the one long scene, a smart way to divide the movie in tonal half)
I’ve liked pretty much every Sean Baker film I’ve seen but at this point I do want to go back and rewatch every Sean Baker film again to assess how he’s touched on sex work/class in every one
