Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
Doesn’t know if it wants to be a funny, joke filled movie or a super action movie. Trying to get a combo of both it just falls flat.
Liked the sound track and a shirtless Hugh tho.
I don’t watch other Marvel movies outside of Deadpool so the references and cameos were kind of lost on me…

Asteroid City 2023
Another classically shot Anderson film with a star studded cast. While the movie was long, it felt extremely fast paced. Some scenes could have benefited with more breadth. I liked the way we saw it as a play production from the inside, behind the scenes, out. A film I believe is a social commentary on opening your minds and discovering the world (or beyond it) for yourself. You can’t wake up if you don’t fall asleep. I thought seeing it in a theatre would elevate my whole movie watching experience, but this one lacks in spectacular.
