  Henry Sugar - Wes Anderson to its logical conclusion and then goes even further, heartfelt in that weird Dahl way.

  The Swan - Rupert Friend is an absolute star in this, absolutely crazy, there’s more playfulness in this one than you’d think given the graveness. 

  The Rat Catcher - So fun, gross and tense in ways that Wes rarely gets to be

  Poison - 11/10, absolutely rocks so hard. Wes Anderson can make anything now. He can do anything.

  Masterpiece, now that I’ve had time to let recency bias fade away, still a masterpiece. Between this and the Dahl shorts, he could literally do anything after this!!!!!!

  Insanely real wtf…

  I’ve known (been) Matts and I’ve known (been) Maras throughout my life but as someone who’s been more Matt than Mara, this movie rules as a kind of out of body experience. 

  Mumblecore but always engaging, personal and specific but never distant. 

  Lovely as hell, ultimately.
