  I was absolutely geeking most of the film.

  Quick notes:
  - Skeleton-horse driving a carriage straight into a volcano to hell itself, awesome
  - So many little gremlins flipping around. Who were they? Where do they come from? Why do they all have an insatiable urge to flip?
  - Who was anyone?
  - In all of his scenes, Satan having a great time. The title is apt
  - Skeleton-horse fart should be on Ayo Edebiri's amazing fart movie letterboxd list…

  A hungry wonder of a movie. Batshit on the surface and bracingly sane deep beneath. Deep play.

  Only with top-flight directing can a film with such deliciously delirious set pieces, which pile on each other like a slopjob tres leches, maintain such clarity and consistency of tone.

  Stylish and stylistic throughout-- editing and wardrobing with such good sense.

  Watching the two stars forget their hapless boy-toy on the phone while they take turns skewering and slicing bananas and sausages is…
