  Another nostalgic watch, and I am taken with this films lack of commitment to being a musical. Like I never realized how this film is technically a musical but like also isn’t really a musical. It hangs around in a muddy grey area that doesn’t really sit right to call it either a musical or not. it’s a long term low commitment distance musical if you will and honestly i’m ok with that.

  Upon first watch the art style choice was jarring at first but it really grew on me with its exploration of texturing and much more vibrant palette compared to the first movie. Fantastic writing, makes me tear every time. no notes

  I am mostly lost for words. I always figured I would enjoy this movie, hearing it mentioned here and there but I never paid too much mind to it. I wish I had sooner.
