3.2 for me. I respect the effort being made with the plot and the suspense is great. However, the effort being made towards the plot reaches too far. This leads you to be more confused and distraught about the plot twist rather than impressed as you would be in other noteworthy plot twists. For example, the prestige or the usual suspects. Suspenseful nonetheless which earns it the 3 rating because it’s the spooky season of October, however a recommendation of such film would tarnish my reputation as a top tier film critic that no one listens to so I mustn’t recommend.

The only reason it’s a 1.5 and not a 1 is because it was successful in making my girlfriend anxious. Terrible acting terrible ending and a very mediocre plot. Being a decent (I’m being generous with the word decent) thriller is why it gets 1 star. .5 from my girlfriend
