City of God is the first film I’ve been told to watch by my film society and it was definitely a great start.
It’s another great film about the rise and fall of a criminal, whose thirst for blood and power eventually becomes his demise.
The storytelling is extremely clever and weaves in and out of certain character segments while still maintaining a solid structure.
The acting is phenomenal and the cast really made sure to drive home any emotion…
