Always love how absurd but striking Kaufman gets and this might be his biggest work. I can see how people find this insufferable, but it hits well for me while also being pretty damn funny. Plus it’s PSH in the lead no one should complain.

An academy award winning short film and a twilight zone episode? Neat!!!
Good little mood piece. Great cinematography and some “otherworldly” design to the whole thing, feels slightly off putting while being very beautiful. The ending is solid and I’m sure was mind blowing back in the day, not so much now but that’s ok!
