  Never before have I see a better depiction of the Cornish landscape than this. As Mark Jenkin himself put it the film depicts a time where Cornwall was a land of work and the sea was respected, not used as ‘leisure’. To me this is the heart of the film, the oppressive but extremely beautiful world can become your curse. I absolutely loved the strong bond to folklore and how it’s presented, especially living around it, the way Jenkin presents…
