White Boy 2017
the documentary did a good job of exposing the corruption and institutional failure that led to scandalization of white boy rick, showing how the war on drugs was a tool of media sensationalism. while i think they could've chosen more personable experts to interview, it's still interesting enough to keep watching and look out for the hitman's interviews because he's funny as hell. ended feeling kinda disillusioned that a 17 year old kid went to jail for 30+ years because his father and (more importantly) the federal government took advantage of his naivety.
