Sometimes the anger and resentment that comes with heartbreak can fade the beautiful memories spent with a person and arouse the negative ones.  I think its a tragically relatable notion that the only memories Joel could think of during his freshly wounded break up and fight was all the toxic love and ill-natured moments with Clementine.  This forced him into making the irrational decision to erase Clementine from his mind forever.  However with a little time and some major reflecting…

I don't know how to express just how powerful and moving this film was to me.  Fuck Roman Polanski but I am certainly separating the art from the artist in this case.  The Pianist is without a doubt among the best films ever made, everything about it was perfect.

Stale dialogued that lacked any sort of wit or teenage relatability.  A depressing story full of even more depressing characters.  I understand there was deeper commentary there, but it didn't hit for me.  The topic of suicide was also taken extremely lightly by the film and its characters, which just felt off and unrealistic.  The films description had me intrigued, but watching it was drastically different.
