Monkey Man is a fun, chaotic action outing that will please most but especially those who enjoy well-choreographed, no-frills fistfights like the John Wick series. The setting is grungy and believable, the story is simple and doesn’t need much explanation, and the acting is great from all involved. If I were to offer any criticisms, they would only be that sometimes, characters’ accents made them difficult to understand, and in some sequences the camera work was very shaky and made events difficult to properly see.
