I like the cinematography but I don’t think it presented religious themes well. Of course it presented religious arguments well but the underlying skepticism and “you only lose by playing the game” mentality isn’t as thought provoking as I think it may want to be.
The use of tension and reveals are pretty good though. I think as an art form it is well executed. But the twist at the very end, explaining it all, I think was a miss.
