Conspiracy 2001
Great performances from a stellar cast in this movie. Many are familiar with major figures in the Nazi regime like Himmler, Goebbels, Goering, etc — but this movie follows the bureaucrats below them who created and executed the framework for the Holocaust. The standout for me was Colin Firth’s monologue. Worth remembering that most of the men depicted in the movie escaped justice.

Chernobyl 2019
Didn’t watch this when it first came out and have no idea why I held off. It’s an unflinching depiction of the dangers of harnessing nuclear power and the toll of human ambition. Few know the full cost of Chernobyl or the enormous sacrifices that were made to try to manage the consequences of the disaster, so I would encourage anyone and everyone to watch this.
