This movie has all the hallmarks of a Stallone classic. Zingers for days, 80s action tropes, over the top explosions, cartoonishly villainous bad guys.

Now I want to read Mickey 7 to see how it compares. I liked this movie, and it succeeded in what it set out to do (I think). But I kinda wanted more exploration of the different Mickeys, Niflheim, the creepers, etc. It felt like it only scratched the surface of these ideas.
Solid performances from the cast. Lots of funny moments. Cinematography and score were adequate but nothing special.
I think I heard a Wilhelm scream too 😂

Slapstick comedy gold. Incorporates a lot of looney tunes style gags both familiar and fresh. Succeeds with its essentially cartoon antics in a live action. The non comedy bits and story leave a little to be desired but I’m not watching this kind of movie for the plot
