Gods alive, this movie was dumb as shit.
There are so many action set pieces that only exist to look good. They have no narrative purpose - in fact, they actively require the narrative to get stupider to support them. Half of the plot is patched over with deus ex machinas and technobabble ass-pull contrivances.
