    Okay pretty good! The acting felt so extremely genuine and not once did I think to myself “oh no they’re acting” which is probably the most repeated phrase in my head when I watch a movie usually. Made me think about the fine line between admiration, jealousy, and contempt

    -I was part way through this movie and I was like man there are a lot of SOUNDS I’m a bit overwhelmed! And then I was like hold on…that really is how life is isn’t it?
    -There is simply nothing better than a back deck dinner in the middle of August with all the critters chirping. Change my mind.
    -i love a movie where I feel so much empathy and care for the main characters that I am bursting!! Kinda…

    Matthew’s movie recommendations to me have mostly been good I regret to say. This movie was really something and I mostly can’t get over that there weren’t more legal repercussions for tár’s actions…but then again maybe there were and we just weren’t getting THAT full story either. Made me wonder what the actual world of professional orchestral music is like and once again made me wish that I didn’t stop playing the clarinet lol…not that I would have ever wanted to go like professional or anything. Also couldn’t stop thinking about that fact that Francesca looked SO scarily similar to someone I used to work with

    Okay this was a really lovely movie. I kind of left it going "okay that was it?"...but in a good way. It felt really understated and there was such little drama that it really felt like it was just a movie about people living their everyday lives and we were just getting a glimpse into this particular part of the story. Was also very refreshing to see a movie in which all 3 of the main characters were very emotionally…
