This was sweet, if a tad anticlimactic on dear old Images Cinema’s sound system. Audience was likewise lackluster in the participatory moments, which made me all the more excited to see this in its live incarnation with Max in Boston next month. F found this cloying but I am a sucker for earnestness. Star studded cast between Christine Sun Kim, Annea Lockwood, and Fred Moten talking about “almost remembering José’s voice” is completely wrenching.
