Gladiator is one of my favs so I definitely wasn’t expecting this to hold a candle to it… and it didn’t. Kinda middle of the road, plot was rushed but also so many things could’ve been left out. Also - sharks in the colosseum???? It was cool to watch but they should’ve done just a little bit more historical research instead of going for that wow factor. No hate though, Denzel did great and it fueled my daily thoughts about the Roman Empire.
