Black Panther 2018
There's so much to unpack in this film. From the themes of black liberation, revenge, black isolationism as a product of colonization, and the greater responsibility we all have to one another.
The shots are gorgeous, the acting across the board is great, and Shuri & M'baku absolutely stole the show for me. I can't wait to see how they plan to follow up this film.

besides the crappy editing, tonal inconsistency with the previous films, and terrible writing... what really pushed me over the edge was the appearance of the monster at the end of the film.
