    Alien: Romulus

    ★★★★

Fede Alvarez's Romulus manages to capture the essence of the original Alien film with its mystery-driven horror elements. The film showcases a distinct visual style, with beautiful set designs and practical effects for the Alien that continue the legacy of what Ridley Scott has done in the past. It picks up right between the first and second films, tying the narrative closely together, which is definitely a plus. The action feels epic in scale, featuring what is likely the best…

    Dune: Part Two

    ★★★★★

Dune Part Two is a magnum opus that complements the first one, especially for those people who didn't appreciate it when it came out. It is adventurous, epic, and truly action-packed with terrific cinematography by Greig Fraser. There have been epic blockbusters over the last two or three years, but nothing that felt so grand in its scope. Austin Butler and Javier Bardem are true standouts, while Timothee Chalamet brings his own guns into the process of portraying Paul Atreides.…

    Mickey 17

    ★★★★½

Bong Joon-ho continues to look through the lens at the society and dictatorship that plays with people's lives without a single moment of guilt. Also, a cool satire and comedy throughout. Mark Ruffalo looks like was inspired to play a mixture between Biden and Trump. Robert Pattinson is incredible and once again proves why he is my favorite actor working.

This is the United States of James Carter. I'm the president, I'm the emperor, I'm the king. I'm Michael Jackson, you Tito. Your ass belongs to me.

I feel people are kidding themselves, Rush Hour is one of the last pure and fun action pleasures from the 90s. I remember watching this on VHS or anytime it was shown on the TV. My generation misses these type of films. Jackie and Chris Tucker is the real duo. Just a pure classic.

I always know when certain films bypass its 30-minute mark and nothing truly happens or moves ahead, almost 9 times out of ten, I'm not going to like it. This is one of those. Pattinson poised as fuck. Such a classy guy, even in the smallest of screentime he finds the ways to stand out. Love the guy.
