Its own plot too concerned with the actions of the previous film, QOS seems like filler, especially in hindsight. And while the villains take a step down quality wise, this film does leave the overall story line in a strong position - with a formerly rogue Bond back in the fold, M on board 100%, and a massive international criminal conspiracy only 10% exposed.

Blink Twice 2024
Definitely draws a lot of inspiration from Get Out and Knives Out. Not a bad thing from my perspective honestly, but it does limit the ceiling for this film. That being said it’s very capably made and acted, and is able to make you come away from the brutal themes and images you see during the film with a wry smile. Fun heel-turn for Tatum, he’s got chops that go well beyond the lovable goofball role.
The name for this movie was originally set to be Pussy Island. I think it’s safe to say that Blink Twice is a much better title.
