Steals from numerous great sci-fi movies and makes those ideas its own. The problem for me is that none of it is polished. Its aspirations are hindered by its budget. They should have taken a moment to work out the kinks. Doesn’t mean it isn’t a fun film, it most definitely is. But it could’ve been much better. I’m surprised it had so many sequels.

Bram Stoker's Dracula 1992
Really wanted to like this one more. I saw it in the theater when it originally released in '92 and kinda liked it, but had issues with numerous things. I figured maybe a rewatch all these years later would change my mind. That didn’t happen. Keanu bugs me in this one. Rest of the cast works fine for me. Huge fan of Oldman and Waits, unfortunately even they couldn’t bring me around. That’s not to say that this film doesn’t have some really cool moments, it has quite a few but as a whole the film is just okay.
