Absolute gem of a film. Fave film I’ve watched this year with outstanding performances that allowed the characters and actors to justplay. They simply got to be humans. Full fucking humans that the carceral system will do everything in its power to strip them of. Can’t wait to watch again and again and again. No notes besides it should’ve swept all the awards.

“It all goes to show how you can know a person and still not really know him at all.” - Holly

Beautifully shot film with wonderful narrative structure. The use of Holly’s dairy entry like narration is the perfect reflection of her age, relationship to Kit, and process of making sense of life on the run.

What a mind fuck of a movie! I’ve been waiting a long time to watch this movie and I’m glad I did! Wow. I think there’s a lot to be said about the division of body and mind, the ability to invade and control someone else’s consciousness, questions of consent and body autonomy, doubling, and the moral righteousness of technological pollution. God, I need to watch this again and read essays and watch commentaries on interpretations of the film.
