  A good take on the kaiju genre, with well incorporated elements of the story of the Golem. This is a monster movie with money where is counts, being both the most expensive movie ever made in North Korea and with effects being outsourced to Toho.   There are some decent ideas here and some playful animation, most everything falls short though. Not bad per se, but this feels like taking a Ralph Bakshi movie and boiling away the most charming parts.
