Nickel Boys 2024
This film belongs in a museum. I say that with only respect for the art that these filmmakers were able to make. I understand why they presented the story this way and it really works to force your audience to empathize through experiencing this situation first hand.

The Fabelmans 2022
From the horribly written dialogue to the absolute lack of motivation for any of the characters, I can’t understand how this is a Spielberg film. The biggest L though is Michelle Williams. The blonde bowl cut, the terrible accent while overacting, and her wardrobe was laughable in most scenes. This movie will win awards based on the Spielberg name alone, not on any real achievement in filmmaking.
