Shoutout Scorsese for making me care about a bunch of degenerate pool gamblers. Awesome movie and adding this to the plethora of examples as to why Tom Cruise is a top 10 actor of all time. Everything he touches just oozes radiance.
Also Paul Newman looks the coolest a person has ever looked in this.
The production on this was quite impressive. I really wanted to like it, but I just felt lost through most of it. The entire cast turns in great performances, but the lack of clarity in the overall plot left me feeling pretty disappointed. I can see where some may like it, but not really for me

Really don’t understand the move to remove the ruggedness that made the first one so awesome to watch. Still enjoyed it, but didn’t really kick into gear until the halfway point.
