  Bit of a mishmash of styles but the storytelling gets tighter along the way and it really creates a distinctive mood when the small abandoned island location is introduced. And it's always a pleasure to see the great Kei Satō. The film's (political) commentary is pretty straightforward but it has a nice kind of disruptive way of telling it.

  Recent Dutch films can't seem to work with decent scripts. Especially Bilal Wahib's character Yousef is here problematically underdeveloped. Would've liked to see more of him. Also the ending at the lake is terribly cliched. Editing and cinematography is again excellent though (no surprise with Jasper Wolf as DoP, I also really liked their previous collaboration on the short 'Geen Koningen in ons Bloed').
