Like discovering Obayashi or Ruiz for the first time. An incredibly prescient film about mind and life, human and nonhuman, thinking and feeling. Something like a "cognitive romanticism" where the scientific and the affective play off one another (à la Mon Oncle d'Amerique); crystalline reflections between cosmology, ecology and psychology (the lack of a 'social' world is deeply strange and intriguing).
